Hungary’s monthly minimum wages will increase Jan. 1 under a decree published Dec. 12.
The general monthly minimum wage will be 290,800 forint (US$747.72) under the decree (Hungarian), up from 266,800 forint in effect since Dec. 1, 2023. In 2025, the weekly equivalent minimum wage is 66,860 forint, the daily equivalent is 13,380 forint, and the hourly equivalent is 1,672 forint, the decree said.
