Idaho’s unemployment insurance taxable wage base will rise to $49,900 from $46,500 for 2023, according to a Nov. 23 update on the state labor department website.
The standard unemployment insurance tax rate that applies to new employers will remain 1% for 2023.
The taxable wage base is equal to the average annual wage in covered employment for the next-to-last calendar year and rounded to the nearest $100, under state unemployment insurance law.
