The Illinois unemployment-taxable wage base is to be $12,740 for 2020, down from $12,960 for 2019, the state department of Employment Security said Dec. 3.
Effective Jan. 1, 2020, unemployment tax rates for experienced employers are to range from 0.625% to 7.25%, a department spokeswoman told Bloomberg Tax in an email.
