Indiana is exempting Minor League Baseball players from its minimum wage law, under a bill that will go into effect July 1.
HB 1558 exempts Minor League Baseball players who are covered under a collective bargaining agreement that provides for wages and working conditions. Minors League Baseball players are currently covered under a collective bargaining agreement through 2027.
