Indiana Releases 2019 Unemployment Tax Rates

Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Indiana’s unemployment tax rates for experienced employers are to be unchanged from 2018, the state Department of Workforce Development said Dec. 5 on its website.

Unemployment tax rates are to be determined with Schedule E and are to range from 0.5 percent to 3.8 percent for positive-rated employers and from 4.9 percent to 7.4 percent for negative-rated employers.

No solvency surcharge is to be in effect for 2019, unchanged from 2018.
