A new Iowa online portal is to allow business filers to make tax payments and file tax returns starting in November, with withholding among the first tax types to be supported, the state revenue department said Sept. 20.
The new GovConnectIowa portal is to streamline business registration and licensing, provide self-service tools for business filers, and simplify tax-related processes in a space that is shared among the Iowa Department of Revenue and other state agencies, the department said in a news release.
