Ireland’s hourly minimum wage will increase Jan. 1, 2026, the country’s government said in a notice Oct. 10.
The standard hourly minimum wage will increase to 14.15 euros (US$16.42), up from 13.50 euros, according to the notice. The compensation allowance for providing lodging to workers increased to 33.42 euros per week or 4.77 euros per day, up from 31.89 euros or 4.55 euros, and the allowance for providing meals to workers increased to 1.27 euros per day, from 1.21 euros, the notice said.
