Final versions of the quarterly federal employment tax return for use in 2024, its schedules, and instructions were released Feb. 26 by the Internal Revenue Service.
The final release included Form 941, Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return; Schedule B, Report of Tax Liability for Semiweekly Schedule Depositors; Schedule R, Allocation Schedule for Aggregate Form 941 Filers; and the instructions for the form, Schedule B, and Schedule R.
None of the forms or instructions had any substantive changes from the drafts released in October 2023 or January 2024. The IRS expects to use this revision ...
