Final revisions of the Internal Revenue Service correction form for employer quarterly federal tax returns and its instructions did not contain substantive changes from their drafts and were released April 16.
New revisions of Form 941-X, Adjusted Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return or Claim for Refund, and its instructions remove lines related to the employee retention credit. The removed lines — Lines 18a, 26a, and 30 to 32 — are marked as reserved for future use in the form and are not covered in the instructions.
