Drafts of Form 941 and its schedules to be used for all four quarters of 2024 were released Oct. 26 by the Internal Revenue Service.
The draft Form 941, Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return, has a March 2024 revision date and only 18 lines, instead of 28. Several lines, some of which were marked “reserved for future use” in the current revision, were removed:
- Lines 5a (i) and 5a (ii), for reporting qualified sick and family leave wages.
- Lines 11b through 11g, reserved for future use or reporting nonrefundable credits for sick and family leave wages.
