The finalized 2021 Form 945, Annual Return of Withheld Federal Income Tax, was released Dec. 1 by the Internal Revenue Service.
The form was not changed from earlier draft versions.
Employers must file the annual form by Jan. 31 when reporting payments of nonpayroll items, including backup withholding, and withholding reported on Forms 1099.
