The Internal Revenue Service released a finalized version of the 2023 Form W-3SS, Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements, on Dec. 13.
The form does not contain any substantive changes.
Employers complete and file Form W-3SS to transmit copies of Forms W-2AS, W-2CM, W-2GU, or W-2VI to the Social Security Administration.
