The Internal Revenue Service released a finalized version of the 2022 Form 940-PR, Planilla para la Declaración Federal Anual del Patrono de la Contribución Federal para el Desempleo (FUTA), and its instructions on Dec. 15.
The finalized Form 940-PR is identical to its earlier draft version.
The finalized instructions state that the IRS is discontinuing Form 940-PR starting in 2023, and taxpayers will instead be required to use the general Spanish-language Form 940 in the future.
