The monthly minimum wage of Indonesia’s capital city of Jakarta, which also is one of Indonesia’s provinces, is to increase to 4,276,349.906 rupiah (U.S. $304.95) for 2020, up from 3,940,973.096 rupiah (U.S. $281.04) for 2019, Provincial Governor Anies Baswedan said Oct. 29 in the province’s Regulation Number 121 of 2019 (Indonesian).
Three other provinces of Indonesia released their 2020 minimum wages Nov. 1. The provinces and their corresponding minimum wage increases are:
