Republican Senator Has ‘Extreme’ Concerns on Trump BLS Pick (1)

Lisa Murkowski, a Republican on the Senate committee that is slated to hold a confirmation hearing for the next commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, has “extreme reservations” about President Donald Trump’s nominee.

“I think some of the comments that he has made recently, and previously, are disqualifying,” Murkowski said Thursday regarding EJ Antoni, chief economist at the Heritage Foundation.
