Los Angeles, California, will raise its minimum wage rates for hotel and airport workers so that they reach $30 by 2028, under an ordinance effective June 29.
Ordinance 188610 contains scheduled minimum wage increases that will take effect annually each July 1. The rate will rise to $22.50 in 2025, $25 in 2026, $27.50 in 2027, and $30 in 2028, under the ordinance. Starting July 1, 2029, the rate will increase based on changes to the consumer price index.
