Manitoba’s hourly minimum wage will increase effective Oct. 1, the Canadian province said in an update to its minimum wage fact sheet on March 28.
The hourly minimum wage will increase to C$15.80 (US$11.63), from C$15.30, Manitoba Employment Standards said in the fact sheet.
Additionally, hourly minimum wages for heavy construction and industrial, commercial, and institutional construction increase April 1. Minimum wages in both industries vary by occupation.
