Prince George’s County, Md., is to increase its hourly livable wage rate to $15.60 from $15, effective July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, according to the county’s Wage Determination Board webpage.
The increased livable wage rate was posted to the webpage on Feb. 17.
Contractors that enter into a service contract with the county, have at least 10 employees, and will or have received at least $50,000 from the county in the following or preceding 12 months are subject to the livable wage rate, the county’s code of ordinances states.
