Maryland’s 2025 withholding guide was released by the state comptroller’s office.
The 2025 withholding guide increases the minimum and maximum standard deduction to $1,850 and $2,800 annually, up from $1,800 and $2,700 in 2024. The value of a state allowance was unchanged at $3,200 annually.
Anne Arundel, Cecil, Calvert, and St. Mary’s Counties adjusted their local tax rates for 2025.
