The Maryland Labor Department posted Howard County’s minimum wage poster to its website April 1.
The poster is available in English and Spanish.
Effective April 1, the hourly minimum wage in Howard County is $14 for employers and $12.50 for small employers, according to the poster.
Small employers are food service facilities, 501(c)(3) organizations, and businesses that provide home health or community-based services and receive at least 75% of their gross revenue through Medicaid programs, according to Council Bill 82-2021, the law that established Howard County’s minimum wage.
