Massachusetts’s paid family leave contribution rate is unchanged for 2025, while the maximum weekly benefit will increase, the state’s Department of Family and Medical Leave said Oct. 1.
The contribution rate remains 0.88% for employers with at least 25 covered employees or 0.46% for employers with fewer than 25 covered employees, the department said on its website.
The maximum weekly benefit is based on the state average weekly wage and will increase to $1,170.64, up from $1,149.90, the department said.
