The hourly minimum wage in Milpitas, California, will rise to $17.70 from $17.20 on July 1, according to an update on the city’s minimum wage webpage.
Milpitas updated its notice and poster to reflect the increase. The notice and poster both must be displayed where employees can easily read them. They are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Korean.
The minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in Milpitas in a calendar week, according to the city’s website.
