Minnesota released its 2026 unemployment insurance tax rates and wage base on the Employment and Economic Development Department website.

Tax rates for experienced employers in 2026 will range from zero to 8.9%, according to the website.

The tax rate for new employers varies by industry and will range from 1% to 8.9% for 2026, according to the website. Minnesota has 51 separate new employer rates.
