The hourly minimum wage in Missouri is expected to increase to $12.65 from $12.30 effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.
The tipped minimum wage is expected to rise to $6.325 from $6.15, according to the calculations. The tipped minimum wage is equal to 50% of the minimum wage under state law.
The last time the tipped minimum wage consisted of a fraction of a cent was in 2022, when the rate was $5.575.
The calculations are based on Missouri statutes and federal data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
