Missouri’s minimum wage will rise to $12.30 from $12 and the tipped minimum wage will rise to $6.15 from $6 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to an update on the state Labor and Industrial Relations Department website.
The update confirms Bloomberg Tax’s Oct. 24 minimum wage calculations.
This is the first year since 2018 that the minimum wage will increase based on changes to the consumer price index. From 2019 to 2023, the minimum wage increased by 85 cents annually in accordance with state law.
