Missouri’s income tax rate decreased in its 2025 withholding formula, released Nov. 22 by the state revenue department.
The highest tax rate used in the withholding formula decreased to 4.7% from 4.8%. The supplemental tax rate also decreased to 4.7%.
The standard deductions used in the formula increased to $30,000, from $29,200, for married employees with nonworking spouses; to $22,500, from $21,900, for heads of household; and to $15,000, from $14,600, for other filing statuses.
