Missouri released its 2026 unemployment-taxable wage base and new employer tax rates on the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations website.
The unemployment insurance tax rate for new employers in 2026 is 1% for nonprofit organizations and 2.376% for all other new employers, according to the website. These rates have been in effect since 2024.
