Missouri announced its unemployment-taxable wage base and unemployment tax rate adjustment for 2024 in an Oct. 31 press release from the Labor and Industrial Relations Department.
Unemployment tax rates will be subject to a 12% contribution rate reduction in 2024, according to the press release. The adjustment applies to all employers not assigned the maximum 6% rate, which is only subject to up to a 10% rate reduction under state law.
