Montana’s hourly minimum wage is expected to rise to $10.30 from $9.95 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.
The calculations were based on statutory requirements and federal Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Sept. 13.
Montana does not have a separate minimum wage rate for tipped employees.
The state labor and industry department is required to annually adjust the minimum wage for the following year by Sept. 30.
