The hourly minimum wage rates in Montgomery County, Maryland, will each rise by 50 cents effective July 1, according to a Feb. 28 county press release.
The rate for large employers, which are those with at least 51 employees, will rise to $17.65 from $17.15, according to the press release. The rate will rise to $16 from $15.50 for mid-sized employers, which have 11 to 50 employees, and to $15.50 from $15 for small employers, which have 10 or fewer employees.
