Nebraska Modifies Nexus for Coronavirus

Employers do not have to change employees’ work states in their payroll systems when they temporarily work inside or outside Nebraska, the state revenue department said May 19.

A change in the work state indicated for withholding purposes is not required when employees telecommute or work from a temporary work location either inside or outside Nebraska because of the new coronavirus pandemic, the department said in a list of coronavirus-related frequently asked questions and answers.
