The Netherlands’ hourly minimum wage will increase Jan. 1, the country’s labor ministry said Oct. 17.
The hourly minimum wage will increase to 14.06 euros (US$15.20), up from 13.68 euros, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment said in a regulation (Dutch).
Since Jan. 1, 2024, only an hourly minimum wage is specified instead of a monthly wage. However, a monthly reference wage of 2,191.80 euros effective Jan. 1, up from 2,133.60 euros, is still used for the amounts of various benefits, the ministry said.
