The Netherlands’ hourly minimum wage will increase Jan. 1, 2026, the country’s labor ministry said Oct. 9.
The hourly minimum wage will increase to 14.71 euros (US$17.10), up from 14.40 euros in effect for the second half of 2025, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment said in a notice (Dutch). The standard hourly minimum wage applies to workers at least age 21, and workers age 15 to 20 can be paid percentages of the minimum wage ranging from 30% at age 15 to 80% at age 20.
