Netherlands Increases Minimum Wage July 1

The Netherlands’ minimum wages are to increase July 1, a regulation from the country’s labor ministry published April 26 said.

The monthly minimum wage will rise to 1,995 euros (US$2,198.87), up from 1,934.40 euros, the regulation (Dutch) from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment said. The weekly minimum wage will be 460.40 euros, up from 446.40 euros, and the daily minimum wage will be 92.08 euros, up from 89.28 euros.
