Netherlands to Raise Minimum Wage Jan. 1, 2020

The monthly minimum wage paid to workers in the European part of the Netherlands who are at least age 21 is to increase Jan. 1 to 1,653.60 euros (U.S. $1,834.69), up from 1,635.60 euros (U.S. $1,814.71) in effect since July 1, the country’s Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment said in a regulation (Dutch) Oct. 23.
