Nevada released its 2023 unemployment insurance tax information on the state’s unemployment insurance program website on Jan. 4.
Tax rates for experienced employers in 2023 range from 0.3% to 5.4%, and the tax rate for new employers remains 3%. Except for employers assigned the maximum 5.4% rate, all tax rates include a 0.05% career enhancement program tax.
The state’s unemployment-taxable wage base for 2023 is $40,100, up from $36,600 in 2022, according to the website.
