Nevada’s unemployment-taxable wage base for 2025 will be $41,800, according to an update on the state’s unemployment insurance website.
The unemployment-taxable wage base is calculated as two-thirds of the state’s average annual wage, according to the website. For 2024, the unemployment-taxable wage base is $40,600.
Nevada has yet to announce its unemployment insurance tax rates for 2025.
For 2024, rates range from 0.3% to 5.4% and include a 0.05% career enhancement program tax.
