An early release of the 2022 Form W-4P is to come next week, but its use is to be optional through the end of 2022, an IRS official said Nov. 4.
The next early release of the 2022 Form W-4P, Withholding Certificate for Pension or Annuity Payments, does not contain any additional changes to the form, but does contain changes to an attached worksheet, the official said during the IRS’s monthly payroll-industry teleconference.
