New Jersey’s hourly minimum wage for employers with at least six employees will rise to $15.92 from $15.49 for calendar year 2026, according to an Oct. 1 news release from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
The minimum wage for seasonal employees and employers with fewer than six employees will rise to $15.23 from $14.53, according to the news release.
The minimum hourly cash wage for tipped employees will rise to $6.05 from $5.62, but the maximum tip credit will remain $9.87, the department said.
