New Jersey Announces Minimum Wage Increases for 2023

New Jersey’s hourly minimum wage for employers with at least six employees will rise to $14.13 from $13, and the hourly minimum wage for seasonal employers and employers with fewer than six employees will rise to $12.93 from $11.90 effective Jan. 1, 2023.

State law requires New Jersey’s minimum wage rates to be adjusted annually through a scheduled increase or based on changes to the consumer price index, whichever is higher.
