New Jersey released an updated unemployment insurance tax table for employers effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
Tax rates for experienced employers during this period are determined using Table D. They range from 0.6% to 5.4% for positive-rated employers and from 5.6% to 6.4% for negative-rated employers. The rate for new employers is 3.1%, down from 3.4%.
The rates include a 0.1175% assessment for the state’s Workforce Development Fund and Supplemental Workforce Fund, according to the tax table.
