The Australian state of New South Wales extended its payroll tax payment deadline for employers to Jan. 14, 2022, because of COVID-19 concerns, according to a Revenue NSW news release.
All New South Wales employers may now make payments for the July to Dec. 2021 return periods by Jan. 14, 2022, and the deadline for the annual reconciliation for the 2020-21 financial year was extended to the same date, Revenue NSW said.
Revenue NSW previously extended the 2020-21 annual reconciliation deadline to Oct. 7, 2021, due to COVID-19 concerns.
