New York’s unemployment insurance tax rates are unchanged for 2024, according to an update on the Labor Department website.
Tax rates for experienced employers range from 2.1% to 9.9%, and the rate for new employers is 4.1%, according to the website. All tax rates include a 0.075% reemployment-services fund contribution.
The unemployment-taxable wage base for 2024 is $12,500, up from $12,300 in 2023, according to a publication from the department.
