New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Corporation levy rates and taxable wages for at least the three-year period starting April 1 were updated in two regulations published Feb. 27.
The Accident Compensation (Work Account Levies) Regulations 2025 address the work account levy paid by employers at varying rates based on their industry, as well as setting the maximum taxable wages per tax year on which an employer must pay the levy for an employee.
In the 2025-26 tax year starting April 1, the maximum taxable wages are NZ$152,790 (US$85,386.16) per employee, increasing to NZ$156,641 in 2026-27 and NZ$160,244 starting April 1, 2027, ...
