North Carolina to Introduce Online Filing for Form NC-5Q

North Carolina plans to introduce online filing for Form NC-5Q, a quarterly withholding return for employers who are semiweekly depositors, the state revenue department said March 5.

Employers are to be able to use the new eNC-5Q portal starting with returns for the first quarter of 2020, the department said in the online filing specifications for Form NC-5Q, North Carolina Quarterly Income Tax Withholding Return. The form is filed by semiweekly depositors, who are employers that withhold at least $2,000 a month in North Carolina.
