North Dakota released its unemployment insurance tax rate and wage base information for 2025.
The tax rates for experienced employers in 2025 will range from 0.08% to 1.14% for positive-rated employers and from 6.09% to 9.69% for negative-rated employers, according to the schedule.
The tax rate for new construction employers will be 9.69% for 2025, up from 9.68% in 2024, according to the schedule. All other new employers will either have a 1.03% rate if they have a positive account balance or a 6.09% rate if they have a negative account balance.
