Ohio Announces 2025 Unemployment Insurance Contribution Rates

Ohio announced its 2025 unemployment insurance contribution rates for employers on the state Department of Job and Family Services website.

Total contribution rates for most experienced employers will range from 0.5% to 10.2% for 2025, according to the website. The total rate will consist of experience rates ranging from 0.4% to 10.1% and a mutualized rate of 0.1%. The mutualized rate, which was 0.5% from 2021 to 2024, is an additional tax to cover unemployment benefits that were not charged to an individual employer.
