The hourly minimum wage on Ohio will increase to $10.70 from $10.45 effective Jan. 1, 2025, the Ohio Department of Commerce said.
The minimum wage for tipped employees will rise to $5.35 from $5.25, according to the department’s Sept. 30 press release.
Ohio’s minimum wage applies to businesses with a certain amount of annual gross receipts. For 2025, the $10.70 rate will apply to businesses with annual gross receipts of at least $394,000, up from $385,000 for 2024.
