Ohio Municipalities, School Districts Pass Tax Changes

Voters in several Ohio municipalities and school districts approved income tax increases at Nov. 4 general elections, official election results showed.

Municipalities that made tax rate changes included:

  • Bowling Green, in Wood County, an increase to 2.15% from 2%.
  • Circleville, in Pickaway County, an increase to 2% from 1.5%.
  • Fort Recovery, in Mercer County, an increase to 1.5% from 1%.
  • Gallipolis, in Gallia County, an increase to 1.5% from 1%.
  • Montpelier, in Williams County, an increase to 1.8% from 1.6%.
  • North Ridgeville, in Lorain County, an increase to 1.75% from 1%.
