Ohio Releases 2021 School District Tax Rates

Ohio school district tax rates, effective Jan. 1, were released Dec. 11 by the state taxation department.

Five new taxes are to be introduced for 2021, the department said in a list of tax rates. The new taxes are:

• Delphos City School District, in Allen and Van Wert counties, 0.5%;
• East Palestine City School District, in Columbiana County, 0.5%;
• Washington Court House City School District, in Fayette County, 1%;
• Van Buren Local School District, in Hancock County, 1%; and
• Ridgedale Local School District, in Marion, Crawford, and Wyandot counties, 1%.
